There are two open epics at present.
"Rainshadow Road" belongs to the Daughters of the Apocalypse series. Maggot is getting better, but not fast enough.
"The Heart's Best Tenant" belongs to the Steamsmith. Charlotte has some interesting business ideas for Maryam.
The weather has been wetter here. It rained several times last week and really poured once. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of house finches, several sparrows, several mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, an indigo bunting, and a fox squirrel. Black hollyhock is done blooming and has set seeds. Comfrey, marigold, a white flower in the wildflower garden, daylilies, zinnia, Queen Anne's lace, purple coneflowers, yellow coneflowers, chicory, cup plant, black-eyed Susan, bachelor's button, and Autumn Beauty sunflower are blooming. Apples and pears have green fruit. Mulberries are winding down.
