Nominations are still open for the 2022 Rose and Bay Awards, but will close at the end of today. If you have not already done so, please visit
crowdfunding to nominate your favorite projects and patrons from 2021. We need at least 2 nominations per category in order to have a proper contest, preferably from different commenters. Poetry and Art have the greatest need for more nominations, but all categories could use them. February will open the voting period.
How are you doing on your New Year's resolutions? I have completed 10 of my 40 goals for 2022, and begun 16 (some of which can't be completed until the end of the year).
New Year's Resolutions Check In
Poetry in Microfunding:
There is one open epic at present.
"Rainshadow Road" belongs the Daughters of the Apocalypse series, which has 33 new verses. People talk about the End.
The weather has been cold here. It snowed a little. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, several pairs of cardinals, a starling, a house finch, and four fox squirrels. Mourning doves are starting to display courtship behavior. :D

Date: 2022-02-01 04:39 am (UTC)This way, interested people can pick and choose what they want to do and how much time they want to spend on it. Hopefully we'll have a community calendar where folks can sign up to host a favorite topic on a given day. It'll be a lot easier if we spread out the workload over multiple people than have 1-2 folks trying to carry the whole thing. After all, the point is to boost activity.
