This poll covers the ideas proposed in the recent call for themes. Everyone is eligible to vote in this poll. I will keep it open until at least Saturday afternoon. If there are clear answers then, I'll close it. Otherwise I may leave it open a little longer. If you don't have a Dreamwidth account, you can vote in an anonymous comment, but include some kind of handle to distinguish yourself.

For this poll, you can vote for as many themes as you find appealing. I recommend that you don't vote for all of them, since that makes it harder to whittle down the list. The list is broken across two questions, with themes arranged in alphabetical order, so make sure to vote in both parts.

If there are clear favorites, I may be able to generate a schedule just from this poll. If not, I'll use it to weed out the less popular ideas, then I'll post another poll with a limited number of votes per person based on participation level.

The August 7, 2018 Poetry Fishbowl met its $250 goal, so there will be a bonus fishbowl on Tuesday, September 18. I customarily feature Polychrome Heroics in one bonus fishbowl a year, because it's my most popular series, usually whatever people want in that setting. However, this, time we've got an interesting situation in that we've recently opened two major threads. So I'm offering you the option of selecting one of those to focus on and develop in more depth. If there's a tie, I'm open to discussing whether we should feature both, but I prefer doing one because we'll get farther with it.

The Raid
This is a subthread of Officer Pink in which Ansel and Turq join a raid on the Umsetzung Complex. There are four poems finished, of which one and a bit are posted, and I have notes for a fifth. This would give you more to build on, but the poems are likely to chain tightly which makes it harder to sponsor later ones.

The Big One
A massive chain of earthquakes and tsunamis devastates most of the West Coast of America. There are two poems finished and both are fully posted. I have a few more specific scenes in mind. This would give you more opportunity to request poems that aren't tightly chained together, but you have less to build on and it's easier to stumble over things I know but haven't had time to mention yet. Once I get more groundwork laid, though, I'd like to open this thread to other writers like I did with Berettaflies, especially short demifiction pieces like letters to the editor. (I'm open to that with the raid too, but this is the one where I actively planned for it.)

Feel free to discuss why you think one, the other, or both of these themes should be featured in the bonus fishbowl.
