Good News
There is a half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics running this week.
ng_moonmoth is running a pool, so if you want to buy some poetry, get in touch.
Computer turnover progresses. We are slowly managing to fix some things. It's still actively uncomfortable to use. The noise that I first thought was the fan, and then possibly a lower version of the ultrasonic whine, has picked up a waver that makes me think something is rubbing somewhere, so I don't know if that's even normal or not. It's like having a giant mosquito in the room. >_< However, we have Dreamwidth, LiveJournal, MS Word, and Semagic working.
Poetry in Microfunding:
There are three open epics at present.
"The Hobbomak" launches the Bear Tunnels series. Emma and Jesse discover an unusual chamber underground.
"A Celebration and a Consolation" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. Keira's father dumps her mother on Yule.
"The Best Understanding of Their Differences" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Calliope and has 3 new verses. Calliope and Vagary consider the aftermath of the bubble fight.
The weather has turned cooler and wet. The ground is still muddy. I've been doing advance yardwork. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a large flock of grackles, a flock of mourning doves (including courtship behavior), three house finches, a pair of cardinals, a Bewick's wren, a downy woodpecker, a rabbit, and a squirrels.
