Birdfeeding

ysabetwordsmithToday is partly sunny and mild.
I fed the birds. Earlier I saw a house finch, a small flock of doves, and a flock of grackles. When I went out to feed them, I heard a downy woodpecker drumming and managed to spot it too. :D
I took leaves off the daffodil garden and hauled 2 trolleys of them to put under the beech tree. That bed is almost done, and next I'll clear the tulip bed beside it.
Crocus are blooming, yellow under the contorta willow and lavender under Home Base. I saw those yesterday.
