Self-Awareness Question: Remembered
Mar. 11th, 2021 02:01 pmFolks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. This is the current list on self-awareness.
73. What would you like to be remembered for?
Well, that depends on who does the remembering. Humans? My writing. All my relations? The one who made an oasis in a stretch of barren monocrop.
While browsing a native plant catalog the other day, I discovered that cup plant -- which Gaia planted in my prairie garden for free -- costs $10/each and that the little dabs of water trapped by its leaves make a refuge for tree frogs. I've only ever seen a couple around here, one green and one gray, but I know there're out there. So I'd say, in terms of fulfilling my role as a caretaker of nature, I'm doing a decent job.
