Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

What good news have you had recently? Are you anticipating any more? Have you found a cute picture or a video that makes you smile? Is there anything your online friends could do to make your life a little happier?

I have my car back! It got sandwiched while parked on the street (without me in it) and while there were some holes and dings, the damage could have been a lot worse. The garage did a great job of repairing, and the other party's insurance covered everything, so I didn't have to pay. I'm very happy I have my car back :)

Due to get my covid jab this Saturday... which is good news as a 50+ somewhat overweight individual with lung scarring from previous problems!

Have some Leicestershire longwool sheep spotted on one of the local farms! These are now a rare breed and look remarkably cuddly! :o)

Interesting!

I'm familiar with "blue-faced Leicester" from fiber arts, even though I've never actually seen one, because their wool apparently knits up well enough to be commonly sold. Fun to see another kind of Leicestershire sheep, of which I believed there must be some. They are suitably shaggy to deal with British weather. Thanks for posting.

I just finished a 2nd interview with a company that looks awesome. The position is something I'm excited about & pays well! They are supposed to get back to me by the end of this week.

I've made inroads on taxes and collecting information about vaccines.

And someone validated I'm having a rough week, which was nice.

Got my second COVID vaccine Tuesday morning and side-effects have mostly been mild - pain/swelling/redness around the injection site and some fatigue and body aches this afternoon. Very much looking forward to needing to worry a little less.
