snowflake_challenge is running this month. Come talk about your fannish passions and make new friends. There's no actual time limit on posting and we've only done two posts so far, so it's easy to catch up.

Fandom Snowflake: Challenge 1 Introduce Yourself
Fandom Snowflake: Challenge 2 Interact
Welcome, new friends from
snowflake_challenge! Feel free to browse around my blog and see if you like it. Regarding tomorrow's Poetry Fishbowl, I post an extra freebie if there is a new prompter or donor, so I hope some of you will join in the fun. Most of what I write is original work, but fan prompts are acceptable too -- I can use those as freebies.
New Year's Resolution Status
How are you doing on your New Year's resolutions? I have already completed 2 of my goals for 2021, and begun 11 (some of which can't be completed until the end of the year).
Poetry in Microfunding:
There are three open epics at present.
"Wanting a Little of Everything" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv. Bennett talks with Shiv and Luci about kink.
"A Celebration and a Consolation" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. Keira's father dumps her mother on Yule.
"The Best Understanding of Their Differences" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Calliope. Calliope and Vagary get into a playful bubble fight.
Last week's weather was a winter mix including rain, ice, and snow on various occasions. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a large flock of sparrows, a large flock of cardinals, a few mourning doves, a downy woodpecker, a dark-eyed junco, and three squirrels (including Bob the short-tailed squirrel on a separate occasion).

Date: 2021-01-04 10:53 pm (UTC)O.O Good for you! I've started 7 of my resolutions, all of which so far happen to be year long ones. I've already failed the exercise goal if I count passing as "doing it every time", but I did the skipping on Saturday and I'm going to keep going with it, not abandon it because of one goof. I also decided to mark all of my repeatables on a dry erase calendar, so that I can keep track of how well I'm doing with the "do X every Y" kind of goals.
Well ...
Date: 2021-01-05 05:51 am (UTC)I'm using bullet journal pages to record some things this year, so I can see how many times I do the task for frequent-activity goals.
Re: Well ...
Date: 2021-01-05 10:28 am (UTC)I much prefer if as "every use is a success" goal too. And since it's my resolution and no one elses, I'm going to count it that way. I figure even small progress is better than none at all.

That sounds like a good way to keep track, I hope you find it useful.
