 BBC seeks comedy scripts with positive portrayals of transgender people.  This makes me happy.  Positive portrayals of marginalized groups can do a lot to smooth over rough spots in culture.

Sadly, I wouldn't trust the BBC further than I could throw them on this one- they have form on asking this sort of thing, lying and then taking the pi55!

Attacking the trans community is very much flavour of the month atm in the UK.

Another trans show making us into a comedy? Oh, how very original!
