Today's Adventures
There are two open epics at present.
"Rainshadow Road" belongs the Daughters of the Apocalypse series and has 17 new verses. Maggot isn't going anywhere soon.
"The Heart's Best Tenant" belongs to the Steamsmith and has 2 new verses. Cecily knows all the gossip.
The weather has been variable here. It has rained off and on, including a little last night. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of grackles, a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, two pairs of cardinals, two pairs of house finches, a robin, and two fox squirrels. Snowdrop, snow crocus, and miniature iris are done blooming. Giant crocus and plum are almost done. Blue grape hyacinth, wood hyacinth, daffodils, hyacinths, and pear are blooming. Lilacs, bluebells, tulips, and pie cherries have buds. The Criterion crabapple is leafing out.
