Birdfeeding

Today is partly sunny and cool, but less windy.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a few sparrows, a few doves, a male cardinal, and a fox squirrel. 

Today's Adventures

Today we went up visit Dad.  We read the wok cookbook on the way up, which is very useful for techniques but less so for recipes.

Lots of things are blooming now -- spring beauties, Dutchman's breeches, early bluebells, Dad's daffodils and the first of the tulips.  I took some pictures. 

We found out that the African shop Ashar is still open, and got some honey beans and a real African yam.  So we're going to look for recipes in the two African cookbooks to figure out what to make with the yam.  :D

This section is very useful if you are new to wokking.

Dad's Flowers
