Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild.  It started out calm, but then turned blustery again.  Earlier I took pictures around the yard.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a small flock of sparrows, a small flock of mourning doves, a robin, a grackle, a male cardinal, and two fox squirrels.

I had been hoping to start planting seeds today, but now it's too windy for that.  :/   So instead I spread compost around the wagonwheel garden.

EDIT 4/16/22 -- I  started digging grass out of the flowerbed near the telephone pole.

EDIT 4/16/22 -- I finished digging grass out of the flowerbed.

EDIT 4/16/22 -- I spread compost around the hollyhock and the telephone pole, then dumped the rest over the adjacent flowerbed.

EDIT 4/16/22 -- I dug grass from around the support wire by the telephone pole.  

EDIT 4/16/22 -- I trimmed brush along the driveway.  As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
