This is a place to share the squee about the crowdfunding projects you're backing right now.

I'm currently backing the Native-made roleplaying game Coyote and Crow.

This poem came out of the February 2021 [community profile] crowdfunding Creative Jam. It was inspired by a prompt from [personal profile] fuzzyred. We have some leftover coconut milk, so I'm thinking about coconut wok recipes. Both of us love coconut chicken, for instance, although I'm not inclined to fry things at home. These are basically inspiration; I'm likely to mix up something of my own.

(That sauce does not need to be so heavy, but makes an excellent starting point.)

Today is mostly sunny, breezy, and mild.

I fed the birds.  Lots of birds out today -- large flocks of sparrows, mourning doves, and grackles; a few house finches and dark-eyed juncos.  I saw a brown-headed cowbird and an eastern towhee.  With the towhee was a solid brown bird of similar size and shape that I thought might be a female, but the females are supposed to have the same rusty side patches.  I couldn't find what else it might be.

I started pulling weeds from under the forest garden.

The first daffodils have opened.  Bluebells are just starting to sprout, and so are violets.  :D

EDIT 3/21/21: I went back out and picked up stray flowerpots from the yard.
