Blotto -- a zetetic street drug that impairs memory for several hours. Crooks often use it to cover up crimes ranging from abuse to rape to witness nullification. While most victims recover except for the missing time when no memories were recorded, or only vaguely recorded, some suffer damage. The drug can blur or erase older memories, or cause longer impairment of new memory formation. These effects are more likely in people who already have memory issues due to past abuse, drug use, mental issues, dementia, and so on. Conversely people with eidetic memory tend to get blinding headaches. It has also killed several migraine sufferers. Blotto mixes very badly with alcohol and can cause recurring blackouts; and with several memory enhancing drugs, which can lead to intrusive ideation. It is therefore extremely illegal, but still unfortunately popular.
