I'm not much for podfics, but the reading is _wonderful_. *squish*

"Brass Rat" LOL! and you know what MIT's official-unofficial motto is? IHTFP?

LiFC podfic is always exciting, and "What Little Boys Are Made Of" gives me Emotions.

Also, uh, hi, I'm back. But I got serious about backing up my fic collection, and of course LiFC could not be left out. This being me, naturally this turned into reading the last two years of your Dreamwidth, because I have two settings: DO ALL THE THINGS and do nothing. I hope you and yours are as well as possible.

||the blog doesn't keep everything in order.||

Lol, yeah, I know, but normally (when I don't spend two storming years [redacted for negative self-talk]) I read your blog almost every day, order or no order. Besides, since new things keep getting written, the only way to read in order would be to wait until it was no longer possible for more things to exist, which would be sad. And reading in chronological order by release date has its own charm. It changes your perspective on how the story grows over time, I guess. As a kid, I was very strict about reading in in-universe chronological order, but I've chilled out since. I still prefer in-universe chronological order when I can get it, but sometimes things just don't work like that.
My own writing doesn't always happen in chronological order, but I find I need to fill in the gaps or everything gets real muddled real fast.
Speaking of my stuff, it happens a lot more now; I realized that if I stopped spending all my time trying to live up to artificial standards of Originality that don't make sense in the fanfic world anyway and just let myself consult somebody else every two seconds I'd actually get stuff done. I've published just over 85,000 words on AO3 in the past two and a half years, as opposed to the nearly 16,000 I managed before that. I've written hundreds of thousands of words, but I have a tendency to write really long stories I can never seem to get past the start of. Mind you, the "start" can be as much as like 100,000 words... But they change significantly during the drafting process, so I can't just publish half-done things... Overall, though, it's good progress.
