Hurt/Comfort Bingo Card 6-10-13

I have written to blackout on my 6-10-13 card for the hc_bingo  fest, although not quite everything has been posted.  I went ahead and logged the results on the community, so you can see the I, N, and O columns.  Since it's amnesty -- the fest revives at the beginning of June -- I got away with listing the unposted stuff.

Amazing. That's actually a long span of writing, isn't it? Several seem to have been prompted last year.

The persistence is just as awesome as the writing!

Yes, I got this card last summer. This fest is challenging because some of the prompts are very specific and its 500 word minimum applies to poetry as well as prose.

I've had only middling luck explaining to fest hosts that average length for a poem is maybe 15-30 lines and 50-150 words. 500 is an epic and while I do write that, most poets don't -- and it's often hard to tell in advance what will reach that mark.

As for persistence, well, "Being a linguist, and therefore stubborn ..."
