Cuddle Party

Everyone needs contact comfort sometimes. Not everyone has ample opportunities for this in facetime. So here is a chance for a cuddle party in cyberspace. Virtual cuddling can help people feel better.

We have a cuddle room that comes with fort cushions, fort frames, sheets for draping, and a weighted blanket. A nest full of colorful egg pillows sits in one corner. There is a basket of grooming brushes, hairbrushes, and styling combs. A bin holds textured pillows. There is a big basket of craft supplies along with art markers, coloring pages, and blank paper. The kitchen has a popcorn machine. Labels are available to mark dietary needs, recipe ingredients, and level of spiciness. Here is the bathroom, open to everyone. There is a lawn tent and an outdoor hot tub. Bathers should post a sign for nude or clothed activity. Come snuggle up!

March Is... Bingo Fest

Here is my card for the March Is ... Bingo Fest over in allbingo. It has two different categories, one for March holidays and one for spring. I have made a mixed card. The fest runs from March 1-31. (See all my 2023 bingo cards.)

If you'd like to sponsor a particular square, especially if you have an idea for what character, series, or situation it would fit -- talk to me and we'll work something out. I've had a few requests for this and the results have been awesome so far. This is a good opportunity for those of you with favorites that don't always mesh well with the themes of my monthly projects. I may still post some of the fills for free, because I'm using this to attract new readers; but if it brings in money, that means I can do more of it. That's part of why I'm crossing some of the bingo prompts with other projects, such as the Poetry Fishbowl.

Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and mild.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of sparrows, a starling, and a fox squirrel.

I took pictures in the yard.  White crocus and tiny pale yellow snow crocus are blooming in the rain garden.  Orange crocus and winter aconite are blooming in the goddess garden.  Pale blue miniature iris are blooming in the wildflower garden.  :D 

EDIT 3/1/23 -- I finished trimming the purple-and-white garden.  Lots of different things are sprouting there but nothing is blooming yet.

EDIT 3/1/23 -- I started trimming the septic garden.  Sedum, garlic chives, and yarrow are sprouting.

EDIT 3/1/23 -- I finished trimming the septic garden.  I still need to rake off dead stems from the interior, and I want to bury the sunflower heads in case the birds left any seeds in those.

Today's Cooking

I'm making Crockpot Mushroom Chicken.  We have a huge cannister of mixed dried mushrooms so that's what I used this time.  The house smells sooo good.

Posting for family -- check out Trevorcolors on Redbubble.  My partner Doug tipped me to the Stitch Witch design, which may appeal to my fibercraft friends.  "I'm full of fucking whimsy" seems like such a Shiv sentiment. These can be printed on numerous products such as T-shirts or bags in various colors.  I'm looking at the meditation print as a coffee cup or tote.
