People have expressed interest in deep topics, so this list focuses on philosophical questions.

Is intelligence or wisdom more useful?

They are equally useful, in different ways and situations. Intelligence is good for solving logical puzzles, wisdom for intuition or emotional ones. Wisdom comes from experience, but it's hard to gain without intelligence; and intelligence without wisdom is a good way to logic yourself with into a miserable situation. They're not the same, and people are often better at one over the other, but they're not fully separable either.

This is a very well-designed recreation of "The Wizard of Oz" in song clips.

Today is partly cloudy and mild.

I fed the birds.  I've seen several house finches and a fox squirrel.

EDIT 7/30/22 -- I watered the barrel garden.

EDIT 7/30/22 -- I took pictures around the yard.

EDIT 7/30/22 -- I cut weeds around the purple-and-white garden.

EDIT 7/30/22 -- I cut weeds along the bulb flowerbeds.

EDIT 7/30/22 -- I started cutting weeds alongside the north edge of the house.

EDIT 7/30/22 -- I watered the septic garden, telephone pole garden, and oak seedlings.

A variety of flowers are blooming in the prairie garden where I planted the Monarch Butterfly Wildflower Seed Mix.  I think there are a few Mexican hats, black-eyed Susans, at least one cosmo, and several zinnias.

This month's theme was "Unusual Sensory Experiences." I wrote from 1:30 PM to 6:15 AM, so about 14 hours 45 minutes, allowing for lunch and supper breaks. I wrote 6 poems on Tuesday and another 7 later in the week.

Participation was up slightly, with 14 comments on LiveJournal and another 39 on Dreamwidth. A total of 17 people sent prompts. You have new prompters [community profile] sunshine_challenge to thank for the second freebie.
