Today is chilly and clear.  It stormed last night.  We have branches down in some places.  A tornado touched down in a nearby town.

I fed the birds.  I haven't seen many out today.

One branch fell across a path I use.  I broke off the small twigs and hauled two trolleys of that to the firepit.  Another time we'll need to go out with the loppers and cut more to clear the path.

I'm doing Lexember this month. The idea is to make (or learn) a new word every day. This can be for a conlang or a natural language.

Jib fin -- a small, triangular fin or flap mounted on the front of a zoomwagon or other zetetic vehicle to aid maneuverability. It works a bit like wing or tail flaps on airplanes. The name comes from a jib sail on a ship.
