Birdfeeding

Today is mostly sunny, muggy, and warm.  It rained a little last night.  There's a chance of more rain tomorrow.

I fed the birds.  I've seen doves and house finches.

I raked about half the newly mown space in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- My partner Doug having finished the raking, I sowed little bluestem in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- I planted prairie dropseed, another native grass, and shortgrass prairie wildflowers in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- I planted the last of the Ozark coneflowers around the barrel garden and the last of the smooth blue asters in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- I planted the last of the aromatic aster and the wild bergamot in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- I planted shortgrass prairie wildflower seeds in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- I planted the last of the shortgrass prairie wildflower seeds in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/7/21 -- I watered the seedbed.

As it is dark and I am tired, I'm done for the night.
