There will be a Poetry Fishbowl on Tuesday, August 4 with a theme of "Unconventional Problem-Solving."


Poetry in Microfunding:

There is one open epic at present.

"Protect the Forests" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Iron Horses and has 24 new verses. The Iron Horses talk about horse communication with Kenzie.

"Pride Against Prejudice" is now complete.  Read about costume ideas.


The weather has been cooler and wet here. It's been raining off and on all weekend. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of mourning doves, a flock of sparrows, a flock of house finches, several cardinals, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: comfrey, pinks, violas, alyssum, petunia, Queen Anne's lace, yellow coneflowers, purple coneflowers, cup plant, blackberry lily, wild senna, dwarf morning glory, morning glory, hosta, gladioli, naked lady lilies.

Birdfeeding

Today is partly sunny and much cooler.  :D

I fed the birds.

I cut a bit of brush in the prairie garden. 

My naked lady lilies are blooming. \o/
