Birdfeeding
Jul. 3rd, 2020 03:53 pmToday is sunny and hot.
I fed the birds.
I saw at least 2 monarch butterflies. There haven't been many butterflies this summer, although I've seen more birds.
EDIT 7/3/20 -- We dragged away a pile of brush that the tree guys left behind, dropping it on the mulch pile where it's less in the way.
EDIT 7/3/20 -- I raked grass in the south lot.
EDIT 7/3/20 -- I went back out. There were lots of fireflies tonight. Also lots of fireworks, too many and intermittent to count, but at least a dozen places, including a few to the west. Most of the activity was still to the south. Lots of people had Roman candles and other ground-based repeaters tonight. For a little while, someone was lighting peonies nearby. I also happened to be looking in the right direction when someone lit a 5x5 and I was able to count the blasts. That was awesome. :D
