Here's a brilliant article, with illustrations, showing how rules work in roleplaying games.  This is very useful if you are a gamer who teaches novices how to play, a designer who makes up rules, or just someone who enjoys game theory and psychology.

Today has been rainy and mild.  The world is puddle-wonderful.  :D  Eventually the sun came out.

I went outside to feed the birds.

Then I dug up some Queen Anne's lace from the yard and moved it to the wildflower garden and the prairie garden.

White iris and raspberries are blooming.  \o/

EDIT 5/19/20 -- Round Two, I transplanted more Queen Anne's lace.

Today we made a smoothie with:

1 cup almond milk
1 cup Looza mango nectar
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
a blob of Imperial Dragon coconut milk
1/2 cup ice

This one is pale yellow with a thick creamy texture that's better than the last few.  It has a very mild tropical flavor.

This poem came out of the May 5, 2020 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired and sponsored by Shirley Barrette. It also fills "The troubled heart" square in my 5-1-20 card for the Sumerian Me Bingo fest. This poem belongs to the Shiv thread of the Polychrome Heroics series. It is the first in the set, followed by "Those Who See Language," "A Linguistic Process," "A Living Element," "Based on the Mistake," and "The Professor's Keychain."
