... to the rest of us.  However, I'd love that Archaeology All-Stars world.  For ace folks, this is also a good analogy about sex/romance.

This poem is from the May 6, 2014 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by prompts from [personal profile] rosieknight, [personal profile] mdlbear, and LJ user Siege. It also fills the "dreams" square in my 3-30-14 card for the [community profile] cottoncandy_bingo fest. This poem has been sponsored by Anthony & Shirley Barrette

[personal profile] sharpeningthebones has written "Blood, Violence ..." based on my prompt.  I wanted something about a supervillain and a superhero who are in love but trying to avoid admitting it.

[personal profile] sharpeningthebones has posted a new crowdfunding project where you can get something of yours read and recorded for podcasting purposes, or something new written.  Support with donations, links, or other help.

[personal profile] sharpeningthebones is doing a crowdfunding project for recording things and is willing to record something of mine in audio format, to be posted later in SoundCloud.  I want to make my work accessible to fans across a wider format.  My idea was to pick one of the first-in-series poems from the Serial Poetry page.  However, I don't have much experience with recording, and I know some of you do.

Which poem(s) do you think would sound best in audio?  Which do you think would make a good introduction to a series or to my work in general?  Do you have any other ideas or recommendations for this?

This poem came out of the May 6, 2014 Poetry Fishbowl.  It was inspired by a prompt from [livejournal.com profile] rix_scaedu.  It also fills the "taking a break" square in my 3-6-14 card for the Origfic Bingo fest.  This poem has been sponsored by Anthony & Shirley Barrette.  It belongs to The Steamsmith series.

The short "A Robot Walks into a Bar" takes a fascinating look at Asimov's first law as it applies to economic survival.  Far more thought went into this than most Hollywood movies with huge budgets.  MOAR, PLZ.

I found this batch of character reboots for DC and Marvel.  I love those descriptions of the characters and their interactions.  I like most of them better than canon.  I would really enjoy seeing fanfic based on these.  In particular ...

Justice League -- I want to see Wonder Woman and Green Lantern kicking ass.  Maybe one of the gentlemen could be in distress while we're at it.

League of Doom -- Giganta should be making strong men cry.

Batman -- Let's explore all the bat-related motifs that are now emphasized in this iteration of the character.  More would be good.  Bats are fascinating.

X-Men -- I was the least enthused about this set, right up to where Magnus Eisenhardt and Charles Xavier are trying to run a school together.  Yes that please give me all of it!  I want to see how the tension plays out when they have to deal with their moral differences in the same household, and can't just smack each other around the city and call it a day.

Turanela makes mosaics for tourist cottages.

Unlocked as a perk from the latest Muse Fusion is my poem "Avorel's Adventure."
When Avorel gets separated from her people, she must survive on her own.
