Mad Engineers

This cartoon made me laugh.  Why?  Because that's the kind of question that runs through my mind when I read most "mad scientist" stories.  Even real-world scientists frequently do unscientific things like cropping their data.

And then people look at me funny when I test  things to see what will actually happen, or when we talk about controlled vs. uncontrolled variables in ritual planning.  I swear, most people don't know what science IS anymore.
