Today's Adventures

ysabetwordsmithToday we went out shopping and erranding.
We picked up the mail first. My Breck's order arrived, so I now have EVEN MORE plants to put in the ground. If the weather cooperates. O.O
We got lunch at Dairy Queen and tried the new Orange Cream shake. My partner Doug liked it better than I did, but I will say it's an excellent match for a Dreamsicle / Creamsicle so if you like that, you'll probably love this too.
At Nola's Naturals we got a jar of honey.
Next we stopped at Half Moon. Doug has been chatting about card magic with someone who works there. They cycle merchandise fairly fast, so I was able to find a new T-shirt. This one is green-and-white tie dye and reads, "My life is a mess but my plants are thriving." :D We also bought a bag of the coconut truffles, which are excellent.
After that, we went to Goodwill. I started out shopping for clothes. Out of 14 that I tried on, 7 fit, which is a great ratio for me nowadays. These include three pairs of pants (brown, black, and teal), a teal-streaked top, a long-sleeved black T-shirt, a black-white-red striped cardigan, a long-sleeved ivory top with snowflakes, and a T-shirt that reads, "Ohana means family." I also picked out several towels. I found another big lidded jar that can be either a terrarium or a storage jar. I got a keyboard that will hopefully replace the one that is melting under my touch. Doug found a boxed set of classic television. Due to a combination of factors, this took longer than expected.
We made it to the tax prep office just after closing time, but fortunately Doug got in anyway to pick up the necessary paperwork.
Last was the grocery stop, and after that we headed home.
It has been a most productive day.
