Here are the setting notes for "Something We Create."
The Ace Place has a purple door.
Inside, there are sections for clothes in purple, green, white, black, and gray. They also offer clothes and accessories with asexual pride, aromantic pride, demisexual pride, and demiromantic pride themes.
One wall serves as a gallery for local ace/aro art and other queer art.
The new book section stocks primarily acespec titles with some other QUILTBAG options. The reading corner includes a swap shelf for books, games, and other tidbits.
The dottie is decorated in ace pride colors, with a sink and a toilet.
The breakroom was substantially sponsored by Eat Healthy Atlanta, which encourages businesses to install full kitchens instead of junk food vending machines as a way to promote better food choices. It includes a glass-top range, a microwave, a toaster oven, and two refrigerator-freezer units (one for storage and one for quick-use things like salads or smoothie ingredients). This breakroom grant is only available to businesses without junk food vending machines. Eat Healthy Atlanta also gives access to many services that provide healthy food stocking and snacking options for businesses.
The offices have been furnished primarily with modular units from a local office supply store that offers discounts for various factors like new businesses and those run by women or minorities. This makes a professional and effective setup more affordable.
This office has purple walls with a straight desk and storage shelves in white. This office has purple walls with a corner desk and storage shelves in white. This office has green walls with a straight desk and storage shelves in white.
The entrance to the Lavender Lane Lesbian Café is all done in lavender.
Indoors, the purple velvet chairs in front mark where the Lavender Lane Lesbian Café spills over into the Ace Place. The service counter is at the back. The dottie and the kitchen are through the door behind that.
