Good News
Last week's half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics went stupendously well. An anonymous benefactor roughly tripled the pool-to-date, so I have a ton of poetry to post! Watch the blog for new poems to appear for days.
There are two open epics at present.
"Rainshadow Road" belongs to the Daughters of the Apocalypse series and has 8 new verses. Catcher and Fivestar prepare for Maggot's departure.
"The Heart's Best Tenant" belongs to the Steamsmith. Charlotte has some interesting business ideas for Maryam.
The weather has been mild here. It rained a little the other day. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a pair of house finches and a lady cardinal. Comfrey, marigold, zinnia, Queen Anne's lace, chicory, cypress vine, garlic chives, sedum, hostas, Maximillian sunflowers, sunchokes, and goldenrod are blooming. Apples and pears have green fruit. The first cherry tomatoes are starting to show color. Many fields near us are about ready to harvest, and harvesting has just started in a few fields. The soybeans across from us are brown.
