Lexember Day 12

I'm doing Lexember this month. The idea is to make (or learn) a new word every day. This can be for a conlang or a natural language.


December 12
Kettlebelly -- slang for someone with Iron Stomach or similar superpowers, who can digest just about anything without harm. They are often resistant or immune to poisons, food poisoning from germs, and other edible threats as well. Some are also resistant or immune to motion sickness.

I've got a character similar to that. She's got hyena qualities, and after living on the street for a while, learned that she could eat darn near any food item from dumpsters and not get sick. (It didn't necessarily taste bad, just "different")

She also surprises folks in the Whateley cafeteria, as she can eat bones with ease. She likes the extra crunch in fried chicken, t-bone steaks, etc.
