Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild with a light breeze.  It rained a little last night.

I fed the birds.  I've seen doves, house finches, and a squirrel.

I spotted a flock of monarch butterflies on Home Base, so I took some pictures.  I had to walk the long way around to rake the firepit, so I didn't bother the butterflies.

EDIT 9/25/21: I planted partridge pea seeds around one of the trees in the savanna.  Also I picked a handful of hazelnuts.  Our bush gives poor quality hazels, small with hard thick shells, but the squirrels love them anyway.  I figure we can crack open a couple to eat just for the heck of it, and maybe use the others in rituals.

EDIT 9/25/21 -- I trimmed around more trees in the savanna.  As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
