I am willing to put in the $73.25 for the Shiv poems for sure. That leaves me about $85 to spend elsewhere, budgetwise. I will know what else I want to buy when I take a closer look in the morning.
The next person to speak up (might be you!) gets to choose the next thread to advance from the three I mentioned, or toss out another idea if those don't appeal.
Out of the three you mentioned, I'm most interested in the Big One thread, particularly the Skink story and the Dr. Infanta story. I am also very interested in purchasing "What Seems Like Surrender" from the Shiv thread. I'm flexible though, if there are other preferences.
OK -- so right now, the pool can target "That Ability to Comfort" (Big One/Skink) and "What Seems Like Surrender". Those two together are $129.50. So if others sign up for a meaningful fraction of that, the pool can add that to the sponsorship list. How does that sound?
If someone can float me for a week and a day, I can put in $25-36, depending on what’s needed for what, with my choices merging well with ones already mentioned (Shiv, Officer Pink, Skink, in that order). If not, I probably can’t put in enough to make it worth your while ($5, maybe $10; just enough to cover the Jules poem and put a few bucks towards whatever else).
Your pledge is good enough for the pool. There isn't enough to go after the Officer Pink poem yet, but if enough shows up, I can put that in the target list after the current two.
Just reply with the amount you wish to pledge. Thanks for offering to play!
BTW, $5-10 toward anything in the pool, so you can buy something you yourself want at quarter-price, is totally cool. That's why I try to have a pool available.
That sounds good to me. I can give $86.75 towards those, making my total donation $160, if my math is right. If you would like to use $10 of that towards finishing "Only If It Is Embraced", I am totally on board with that. That would leave $52.75 remaining to sponsor both poems listed :)
