There will be a half-price sale in Polychrome Heroics this week, which I'll post shortly.
Poetry in Microfunding:
There are three open epics. We're full until at least one of these concludes.
"Energy, Made Visible" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Shiv. Now Shiv flibbers over being unable to earn ALL the pretty colors at once.
"Only If It Is Embraced" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Damask and has 11 new verses. Pain's Gray deals with Ham picking on Keane.
"In the Depths of Your Grief" belongs to Polychrome Heroics: Officer Pink and has 29 new verses. Ansel finally gets to see some action in the raid.
The weather has been much colder here. We got a little rain last night. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: sparrows, house finches, a male and a female cardinal separately, a goldfinch, and twice a bluejay. They're more interested in the feeders as the weather gets worse and other sources begin to dry up. In bloom: marigolds, gazania, zinnias, salvia, cleome, petunia, million bells, snapdragons, lantana, dianthus, morning glory, sedum, and goldenrod. There's also some pink thing in the prairie garden. Not much on the Criterion apple tree, but the crabapples and pears are ripening. Leaves are just beginning to turn colors in a few places, but not much yet. Almost all of the fields have been harvested.
