Today is mostly sunny and warm. I planted white prairie clover, purple prairie clover, great blue lobelia, and cardinal flower in the wildflower garden.
I also noticed that another of my oak seedlings is leafing out, so at least two are still alive. \o/ Lilacs and honeysuckles are blooming. Raspberries have buds.
I saw the first monarch butterfly today, too.
EDIT 5/5/18: I planted the last two wildflowers in the prairie garden. Doug and I cleaned up the area between the mulberry by the garage and the house, and I put down grass seed there. The seeder is working better today -- it may have been wet yesterday, or just overloaded.
