Cuddle Party

Everyone needs contact comfort sometimes.  Not everyone has ample opportunities for this in facetime.  So here is a chance for a cuddle party in cyberspace.  Virtual cuddling can help people feel better.

We have a cuddle room that comes with fort cushions, fort frames, sheets for draping, and a weighted blanket.  It has a basket of grooming brushes, hairbrushes, and styling combs.  A bin holds textured pillows. There is a big basket of craft supplies along with art markers, coloring pages, and blank paper.  The kitchen has a popcorn machine. Labels are available to mark dietary needs, recipe ingredients, and level of spiciness. Here is the bathroom, open to everyone.  There is a lawn tent and an outdoor hot tub. Bathers should post a sign for nude or clothed activity.  Come snuggle up!

Describe things with pressure and grounding...my body literally feels like it 'is buzzing and fraying apart, everything is light and staticky and separate and jittery and ITCHY FEELS LIKE IT WON'T COME BACK TOGETHER....it will, my skin and muscles are still in one piece, but my nerves haven't caught on that they are part of one being and they don't all have to scream about everything they sense

I can certainly do grounding. I set up the cuddle room with the same automatic features as my house has. So lying down, put both palms on the floor and think about grounding. The energy will shift to help you ground.

For pressure, how about squeezing parts of your body in order to help them connect? Like skin-brushing, but with deep pressure. This is your right hand. This is your right forearm. And then when we're done with that, do the allover squishing again.

I wish somone was here IRL to squish for real... this is when I miss old house most, I used to be able to go into the basement and squash myself between the dryer stack and the wall
