Thursday's Yardening

Yesterday it rained, so the ground is a little easier to dig. I planted 18 "Purple Sensation Blend" tulips in the purple-and-white garden. Then I carried 2 big buckets of mulch to cover the ground there.
In the wildflower garden, I have a few native asters blooming with tiny lavender tassels. I'm not sure what kind they are, since I've planted several.
