Saturday Yardening
Mar. 12th, 2016 04:19 pmToday we picked up sticks from the yard right outside the door. That will become the core of a bonfire, as we add more stuff picked up or trimmed out of the yard.
More daffodils are blooming under the maple tree, and a few other places. Crocus are blooming in the goddess garden and elsewhere.

Probably a good idea for a bonfire. Or is it?

Date: 2016-03-14 04:45 am (UTC)The daffodils and crocus are blooming here too. I'm not sure anyone realized how many there are outside of gardens - they're all over the fields, in the woods, on roadsides, everywhere.

Yes...
Date: 2016-03-14 06:34 am (UTC)Our firepit is 9' across. We often pile brush into it until we have a big heap, then light it for a sabbat ritual. Beltane in May is a possibility.

:D In this area, naturalized flowers are common. There are daffodils alongside the roads in many places, and in summer, daylilies. In our yard I've planted flowers mostly in beds or under trees. But we also have grape hyacinths and white starflowers naturalized in the yard. Some year I ought to put out more of those, they're pretty.
