Northern society, like Southern, has its advantages and disadvantages. It's a very harsh environment, and they've had to make compromises to survive it. They make strong efforts to integrate everyone and meet people's different needs. But if you still don't fit, you're really fucked, and we've got some stories about that. "Cutting Time" is one such example.

Yeah, I love the flexibility of Northern culture.
