One of the Sketches in a very early Avengers/Captain America story I wrote played with that (though Steve's bathroom didn't get a lot of mention); Steve for example can cycle through a full cycle of impairment back to SuperSoldier Able over short periods. He would need space and secure handholds, and at times somewhere to sit while he sluices down.
