Me, I've never had trouble talking about my work in positive terms, but then I don't really have a feminine personality.  My self-confidence tends to piss off people who wish that I'd talk like a woman.  *shrug*

Know it well as 'what everyone knows' is that I'm a fake and not the real deal.

Yes. Even when it comes to horsey things, which at my level is dominated by women (I can think of two kids who lease/ride seriously at my barn, there's the farrier and some stall cleaners who are guys and that's pretty much it--I have never had a male boss in my life), I still feel the need to downplay what I can do.
