Pimp-A-Friend Meme

ysabetwordsmithIt occurs to me that everyone on LiveJournal has some friends who write really awesome blogs -- funny personal tidbits, professional tips, vicarious gardening, food pr0n, whatever -- that other folks would enjoy. So I'm proposing a meme to take advantage of this.
Today's Pimp-A-Friend pointer is:

stonetalker writes "Ramblings of a Stone." This blog features such topics as gardening, cooking, astrology, recycling, writing, community projects, divination and other forms of magic. She is one of my facetime friends, too, so you'll see some overlap between our posts -- especially the gardening ones! Her tone is often light-hearted and whimsical, sometimes more serious. Go lean over the virtual backyard fence and have a chat.
1) Pick a friend who writes a great LiveJournal and would welcome more traffic on their blog.
2) Write a post on your blog that links to their blog and describes what makes it worth visiting.
3) Encourage your audience to go check it out.
4) Audience members who do the meme are also encouraged to copy their own Pimp-A-Friend message as a reply to the original post.
5) This makes a good periodical activity for a networking blog or a community.
