djinni recently completed two icons for characters from my Clockwork War series, from the poem "An Arm and a Leg."  You can read the other posted poems from that through my Serial Poetry page.

The first is Deacon Evans, who lost an arm; you can see him in the icon for this message.  The second is Gideon Dallas, who lost a leg.  They are still kicking alien robot ass.  I know I've got some readers who are handicapped and/or involved in disability rights.  If anyone wants an icon of a handicapped hero, I'm happy to share these.

Also notable is this illustration of Richard/Death, a favorite character in the Afterlife series by kajones_writing.
