Commented there, and I'll make the same comment here...sounds like theocrats blatantly promoting theocracy to me. And yes, this idea is diametrically opposed to the concept of the separation of church and state.

It's things like this that should make people very glad I am not a genius mechanic, because if I were, I would make walking death rays and destroy people that utterly stupid. As it is, I am a pacifist anyway and so wouldn't even if I could. But gods, they love tempting me.

They probably felt that since large parts of the founding documents are now ignored with impunity, they could get away with it. So far, they are correct.

Obviously they should go the whole hog and create an order of warrior monks to protect Kentucky- along the lines of the Knights Templar- now that would be cool!
