Some Problems with Standardized Tests

They don't measure real-life ability to DO things. They're so skewed, they discourage perfectly functional people. Here's an article about an adult who took one of those standardized tests and performed miserably. Yet he's actually a successful man, with some very cogent remarks about the social damage done by this style of testing.
