Today I saw this exciting article about a proposed mission to Titan that would actually land a boat in one of its bodies of methane. The mission has to outcompete others if it's to get past the proposal stage. Oh, I want to go to Titan and explore its waves! It is a scientist's job to build, but it is a poet's job to inspire. So I give you this...TiME to Go
-- a triolet
We dreamed, when first we ventured on the blue,
To sail a foreign sea and chase its stars.
Our own ancestors shared these thoughts, it's true.
They dreamed, when first they ventured on the blue;
What they could only dream, now we can do.
So craft a stranger hull, and rig the spars:
We dream, and venture forth beyond the blue,
To sail a foreign sea and chase its stars.
