Privacy and the revival of languages

However, it occurs to me that the rampant growth of spying could inspire a revival of minor languages. Imagine how much harder all the spies would have to work if they had to learn Dine and Manx and Hawaiian ... and Klingon and LAadan ... *cackle* They're probably dumb enough to put the record in the player.
Of course, that would probably lead to outlawing other languages and beating people for using them. That works, most of the time.
Which could lead to a tremendous growth spurt in slang. They might want to consult the floundering drug war frontliners about the godforsaken foxhunt of trying to keep up with street slang. The leading edge always evolves faster than the hunters can keep up with.
Amusing to watch from a distance, if you enjoy black comedy. Radioactive ebola carrots, anyone?
