Poetry in Microfunding:

There are two open epics at present.

"Rainshadow Road" belongs the Daughters of the Apocalypse series. It introduces Maggot to the Clearwater Caravan.

"A Celebration and a Consolation" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. Keira comforts her mother after the breakup.


The weather has been hot and muggy here.  Today it's raining, enough to flood the patio earlier.  \o/  Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a few house finches, a few mourning doves, a lady cardinal, and a squirrel. Currently blooming: purple coneflower, morning glories, nasturtium, cup plant, black-eyed Susan, Queen Anne's lace, petunia, zinnias, marigolds.

Moment of Silence: Ed Asner

Actor Ed Asner has passed away.  He appeared in "Roots" and did voice acting in "Gargoyles" and "Up," among many other things.

Birdfeeding

Today is warm and wet.  Earlier a thunderstorm delivered a good amount of rain, and it's still occasionally spitting.

I fed the birds.  I've seen house finches, doves, and a squirrel.
