Actor Ed Asner has passed away.  He appeared in "Roots" and did voice acting in "Gargoyles" and "Up," among many other things.

I'm old. He will always be Lou Grant. I loved both The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Lou Grant. I have to admit, I was a huge fan of The X-Files. It was so cool that he guest starred on that. He was brilliant as usual.
