Transition

We have one chance to transition from fossil fuels to renewable fuels.  Regrettably the people who care about this and know how to do it are not the same people as the ones who decide what happens.

Sunday Yardening

Today is sunny and mild, a beautiful fall day.  Yesterday it rained and rained, a differently beautiful fall day, because we need the water.

I fed the birds.  Then I planted the last 30 blue grape hyacinths near the barrel garden. 

A small purple aster is blooming in the wildflower garden.  I saw two toads while I was walking around the yard.  :D

EDIT 10/27/19: I went back out to gather and plant wildflower seeds.  I put some blackberry lily seeds in the prairie garden and around the edge of the savanna.  I scattered some northern sea oats around the barrel garden.

Review: Ms. Monopoly

Tonight we cracked open Ms. Monopoly. It had its ups and downs, but was interesting enough to be worth what we paid for it. I probably wouldn't play it again, but I am happy to have tried it.
