Emotional Intimacy Question: "We" Statements

Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. I'm starting with this list.

25. Make three true “we” statements each. For instance, "We are both in this room feeling ..."


1) We enjoy poetry.
2) We prefer civil discourse to trolling.
3) We want to make the world a better place.

Poem: "Learning Together"

This is the free epic for the July 3, 2018 Poetry Fishbowl reaching its $200 goal, chosen in an audience poll.  It came out of the July 3, 2018 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by a prompt from zianuray. This poem also fills the "peace" square in my 7-1-18 card for the Winterfest in July Bingo. It belongs to the Mercedes thread of the Polychrome Heroics series.

3D Printed Guns

 The files for them are now freely available.  I foresee a lot of Darwin Awards.  Making a gun is not actually all that difficult.  Making one that won't explode when you fire it has been a project of the centuries, and takes considerably more skill and luck. It gives a whole new meaning to "You'll shoot your eye out!"  I would not be surprised if exploding plastic guns do a great deal more to discourage people from making them than the government ever could.
