dialecticdreamer has posted "Memorial Services Begin - Article in the Northwest Herald" which is another piece of demifiction following "Tragedy on the Dan Ryan Expressway."  These are set in my Polychrome Heroics series and feature some of the challenges of interfacing superpowers with ordinary people.  Today's entry deals with the aftermath of the accident.  Sad, but very thoughtfully done.

In case you're not familiar with demifiction, it's fictitious writing in a nonfiction format. I do a lot of this for Torn World in the form of plant and animal descriptions.

Who Has the Right to Tell Stories?

Here is an interesting essay about stories and who has the right to tell them.

My stance is that everyone has the right to create whatever they are inspired to create. They also get to decide whether or not to share that with anyone else.

Then it is the audience's turn. They might like the story. They might hate it. That's up to them.
